Leadership Programs

Great leadership is a journey as well as a goal. EastPoint provides three levels of experiential leadership training to accelerate and deepen your journey. Each level builds on previous learning and practice.

Key aspects of leadership cannot be learned from books and seminars. To develop these qualities, EastPoint programs emphasize the experiential approach of Learning, Practice, and Action – to develop: Awareness, Presence, Authenticity, Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, Courage, Voice, Creativity, Agility, Gentleness, Humor, and Power.

Getting Started

We start with an email questionnaire and a one-on-one coaching session (by phone), to explore and determine your leadership challenges and goals.

You will attend a 3½ - day outdoor workshop in a beautiful and private setting. The workshop includes awareness and leadership exercises, presentations and discussions, and group coaching sessions to develop your ongoing Learning, Practice, and Action (LPA) plan.

Who Should Attend?

EastPoint Level 1 has been developed for leaders and would-be leaders in organizations of all kinds, as well as for entrepreneurs wishing to develop their leadership skills. The program is suitable for senior leaders, young leaders, high level executives, and new leadership hires. Level 1 programs of wide leadership diversity are just as successful as programs for leaders of similar age and position.

We welcome participants of all ages and fitness levels, however a minimum level of fitness is necessary. Exercises that are part of the outdoor retreat are fairly gentle physically, but require a certain amount of standing and walking.

The Coaching Track

EastPoint’s Coaching Track is unique. We have adopted it because we have too often been to workshops, enjoyed the experience and felt we’ve learned a lot, but then realized we have forgotten most of the content a week or two later! The EastPoint Coaching Track is designed to address this shortcoming.

After the Program

You join two phone coaching sessions (small group) - one week and three months after the retreat - to support you, and to ensure success in carrying out your “Learning, Practice, and Action plan” in your work & your life.

Further (advanced) Training

Following the Level 1 program, participants may be interested in deepening their learning and practice of leadership, building on the practices and skills developed in Level 1. The Level 2 program emphasizes working with others in more unstructured situations. The Level 3 program emphasizes deeper aspects of awareness and strategy-in-action at all levels of leadership. Completion of a Level 1 program is a pre-requisite for attendance at Level 2.
