The Coaching Track
EastPoint’s Coaching Track is unique. We have adopted it because we have too often been to workshops, enjoyed the experience and felt we’ve learned a lot, but then realized we have forgotten most of the content a week or two later! The EastPoint Coaching Track is designed to address this shortcoming.
Your EastPoint coach will send you a questionnaire to fill out prior to your initial one-on-one phone coaching session. Your initial coaching session will help you clarify your personal objectives and goals for the retreat. The skills and qualities you wish to strengthen will then be integrated into the retreat program of exercises and discussions.
During the retreat, with the help of an instructor in individual and group interactions, you will develop your own EastPoint Learning, Practice, and Action (LPA) Plan to bring the learning and practices from the retreat into your business and everyday life.
In a group coaching session (small groups of usually 5 to 6), via phone conference, shortly after the completion of the residential retreat, you will be supported in refining your EastPoint LPA plan.
Three months after the retreat a further group coaching session will facilitate the sharing and discussion of your experiences and results. Over that three month period, your group will meet on a regular basis, without your coach, to give further mutual support in implementing your new learning.
The EastPoint Coaching Track ensures:
- Your goals are identified before the retreat
- The appropriate skills for you are addressed directly and developed during the retreat
- A plan is drafted to support the changes you wish to make in leadership at your business and in your life (the Learning, Practice, and Action plan)
- You are supported in carrying out your LPA plan
- You have accountability at the end of three months to encourage complete success
In our experience there is no better way of learning and affecting change than through experiential training combined with professional leadership coaching. The cost of the Coaching Track is included in the program price.
