Vision
Change, conflict and complexity are inherent in the world, in our lives and professional work, - so is our capacity to transform them creatively and peacefully into benefit. The inherent qualities which enable us to do that can be cultivated, strengthened and exercised. That is the objective of EastPoint's experiential learning retreats.
Mission
The EastPoint mission is to help leaders, conflict mediators and peacekeeping mission personnel accelerate their journey towards more effective, authentic, courageous engagement in their professional field, when working under extreme stress and in challenging rapidly changing environments.
Enhancing personal competencies and sensitivity, mental and emotional strength, mindfulness and awareness-in-action, greatly increases the effectiveness with which each individual applies their knowledge, experience and skills in their mission responsibilities. This benefits those they lead and the people and missions they serve.
The EastPoint program model derives from ancient warrior training traditions and mindfulness techniques, as well as from modern experiential training techniques. The founders and core faculty of EastPoint - Geoff Crinean and Lennart Krogoll - have trained and worked with these techniques since 30 years. We have been conducting experiential training programs in a variety of organizations throughout the USA, Canada, Europe and South America.
